There is such a vibrant Vietnamese community around Clark University. With a bevy of Vietnamese restaurants, it is no wonder Vietnamese cuisine is becoming one of my favorite. At Ha Tien Market, you can find one of the most identifiable foods in Vietnamese cuisine, the Banh Mi. This sandwich was introduced during the French Colonial Period. The sandwich is usually served on a sub roll, with pork or beef, daikon radish and carrot, cucumber, fish sauce, cilantro, and chili. Banh Mi is a flavorful sandwich which is different from the regular sub I am used to. Enjoy!
