POTATO LATKES!!!

Potato Latkes might be my favorite food alongside my mom's brisket. Its just soo good. The ingredients for potato latkes are obviously potatoes, eggs, onions, salt, flour, and oil to fry them in. First thing you need to do is grated the potatoes and the onions. Next step is to make sure that the liquid from both the potatoes and the onions is removed. Then you combine the grated potatoes and onions with the beaten eggs, salt , and flour. Mix until all of the ingredients are incorporated.  Then you fry!!!!!!


Fry on each side for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and delicious. Fry in batches, so when you have fried one batch store them on a cookie sheet lined with paper towels. Serve with apple sauce and sour cream and you will be in heaven. Even though it is traditionally a dish served at Hanukkah time, they are great anytime of year.
